You might think that Cahuita is a sleepy little village on the Caribbean shores of Costa Rica. Jaco Beach is within easy reach for tourists looking for a perfect location. Lying on the Central Pacific coast of Costa Rica, it is a real surfers’ paradise. The capital, San Jose is just two hours away, and the variety of water sports offered on the beach would be excellent for honeymooners and families alike. Unfortunately, the water is not always perfect for swimming; therefore, you might need to visit one of the other beaches when the waves are too high. Playa Hermosa and Playa Herradura are also great for surfing and extreme waters ports.
